Hi

Has anybody added Google Analytics code to LAMS to track basic usage statistics across the system - if so, what are the locations of the template files to add the google anylitics code to?

Hi Glen,

I've done this before in one of our demo sites, but I can't remember which template file I add the analytics code to :-)

If you just want to add it to the front page, then you can just login as sysadmin, go to sysadmin menu, then "Maintain login page", turn the html editor to just plain HTML, add the Google analytics code at the end. Again, that will only give you the front page.

Let me have a quick look and get back to you.

Cheers,

Ernie

Another way to do this for all main pages (not learning pages) is to include your analytics code in

jboss-4.0.2/server/default/deploy/lams.ear/lams-central.war/WEB-INF/tags/Head.tag

To do this, stop the server, modify the tag file and restart LAMS. That should do it

Thanks,

Ernie
