can I throw out to the (LAMS) universe a feature request?
(1)
I'm bulk uploading a hundred or so users to the system:

* login * password * first_name * last_name
login1 test1 Test User 1
login2 test2 Test User 2
login3 test3 Test User 3
login4 test4 Test User 4
login5 test5 Test User 5

when adding these users to a new lesson ("Select Students And Staff") I've only got the learners first name to identify them..

Test
Test
Test
Test
Test

heaven help me if I had a classroom full of "John" or "Jane"

(2)
having uploaded a hundred unusable test users, a simple way of multiple selecting users (checkboxes with "select all"?) from the admin page "Find Users" (show all)

just wanting to make a great tool even better....

thanx

Good point.

We have added this here as an improvement for 2.0.1 release... which should be released in next week or so.

Thanks for letting us know about this.

I had intended to make the same request. After importing a samll number of students and seeing this limitation, I baulked at importing 1100.

Looking forward to the updated version.

With (2), do you mean checkboxes for 'delete user'?

yes, anything.

unless there's a simplier way I've not yet found, deleting the unsuitable users meant a real juggle to do it one by one.

anything to manage the deletion of lots of users would be nice (and I do realise the mistakes this could lead to by "ham-fisted" operators...)
