Is there a setting to make sure that LAMS Server autostarts if the server restarts (power outage, etc.)?

Yep, in Windows just set the service to start Automatically (Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services, then right click LAMS->Properties, and change the startup type to Automatic).

In Unix you can use the lams script located in lams-server1.0.1/conf/, and put that in your /etc/init.d directory, and setup the relevant rc.d links - it also supports chkconfig (do 'chkconfig --add lams').

Marc,

I'm assuming that you want to run the Mac OS X, right?

Well, it's quite different in Mac OS X than unix.

I have created a package installer to automatically start LAMS at boot time, but then I got rid of it as the little Server controllers application took care of things.

Let me dig it out, I think I still have it somewhere and I'll send it to you.

Thanks,

Ernie
