HI Zuheir,

> users cann't register by themself , how can I let them to register by themselfs?

Nope. On the default LAMS installations users need to be created in LAMS. They can't register themselves.

Although you can create an external web application that can create users into LAMS using webservices.

Or if you use MS Active Directory or LDAP, then you can configure LAMS to use it, so people that you have in your directory can login into LAMS using it.

You will need to install a dimdim server (see http://www.dimdim.com for details). Once you have a dimdim server you can configure it to be used with LAMS: http://is.gd/d9yJ8

For video recording, you will need to have a Red5 Server as well (see http://is.gd/d9yFQ)

Hi Zuheir,

Please note that this is a *separate* web application and not part of LAMS. But I think this would work if you need people to sign up themselves.

Thanks,

Ernie
