Hola Carlos Felipe,

Como estas?

Most likely the there's a problem with the URLs you are entering in the Moodle or LAMS side.

Have you looked at this animation?

http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lamsdocs/Configuring+Moodle+Integration

If the URLs are correct, perhaps you can check that your Moodle and LAMS server are able to make calls *out* on port 80.

When doing the validation from Moodle, check the access logs to see if Moodle is actually requesting the page from LAMS.

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ernie,

Thanks for responding.

I am checking the URLs.

I revised that animation and I followed it step bye step.

I am checking the port 80 and the access logs.

Moodle reports the following:

URL

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$lamstwo_serverurl in /usr/share/moodle/mod/lamstwo/config.html on line 7

id

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$lamstwo_serverid in /usr/share/moodle/mod/lamstwo/config.html on line 14

key

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$lamstwo_serverkey in /usr/share/moodle/mod/lamstwo/config.html on line 21

request_source

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$lamstwo_requestsource in /usr/share/moodle/mod/lamstwo/config.html on line 28

in the configuration page of the LAMS v2 module.

I hope with this you know what is happening.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,

Carlos Felipe

Hi Carlos Felipe,

If you are getting "Notice: Undefined property", that probably means that the settings are not being saved in Moodle.

What version of Moodle are you running?

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ernie,

I hope you are ok.

Nearly a week ago I sent you an e-mail in spanish as you told me.

I am using Moodle 1.9.9+ (Build: 20100811) which has been working fine even with some other modules and blocks.

From here: http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lams/Downloads#Downloads-moodle
I clicked the tab "integrations", and in section
Moodle 1.8+, Current version string 2009112400, release, I clicked "download", getting the module lamstwo.zip.

LAMS works fine (http://148.208.209.107:8080/lams) and Moodle (http://148.208.209.107/moodle) showed me always "success" in "admin" or "Notifications", I followed step-by-step the animation about integration and Moodle does not VALIDATE.

¿ What do You think about this ?

I included in the firewall the port 8443 (administration) for LAMS.

Do You think Moodle needs the PHP_extension XMLRPC ?

Do You think our server needs the curl installed (used for file transfer)?

Please help me with this and thanks in advance.

Regards

Carlos Felipe
