Hi Nikos,

I don't know why you would be getting a null pointer exception. That is kind of weird.

So can you attached the server and lams.log please?

Hi Nikos,

After seeing the logs, it looks like LAMS wasn't able to find information about the user.

Does this happen every time you try to use chat? For instance if you tried today, are you getting the exact same problem? Can you try with a different user please?

Yes I have entered with another user and still have the same exception problem.

Is it possible that the version of openfire isn't compatible?

Sorry, I didn't see the openfire version number. But it might have something to do with it.

Can you try with openfire version 2.6.2? You can find the instructions here:
