Dear all

I just bought the latest samsung note mobile and tested it on lams. Everything works including all flash based articulate presentations!! Pop ups in the learner environment play --ie double clicking blue circles. Moreover the monitor tools seem to work.

The only problem is I need to press refresh in my groups to be able go into other sequences.

Regards

Chris

Oh I forgot to mention some monitoring functions don't seem to work eg pop ups in sequence, but this might be the settings on my phone. But enough of it works to get an idea of who's working.

Hi Chris,

Great to hear about this!

As you might know, we started a quite a bit of work for LAMS on Mobiles some years back.

For 2.4, which should be out in February-March 2012, we'll be including automatic detection on mobile devices and turning the interfaces to a slimmer and more mobile friendly screens.

This means that if LAMS detects that a student is trying to access a lesson with a mobile device, then it will automatically provide a convenient mobile screen.

We'll be doing some testing on this shortly, so I'll let you know so you can give it a go.

Thanks

Ernie

Hi Chris,

Most of the new smart phones support flash technology, so LAMS works very well.

I also bought a new Sony Ericsson XPERIA NEO V last month and LAMS works well.

m-learning is coming!
