Hi Chris,

I think now I understand what you are after.

The reason you probably need this button/feature is because each time we create a lesson in LAMS you are force to specify the learners that you want to include in it.

And, the issue here is that if you add more users *after* you created the lesson, you must add them to the pre-existing lessons manually.

Is this the issue you are having?

Thanks,

Ernie

Yes, and as a result my poor lab assistants have to do a lot of clicking work!

OK, so I think there's two way we can go about this:

1) Open lessons

When creating a new lesson, you don't have to specify each single user you want to participate in this sequence, which will mean that anyone that is part of the course you are adding this lesson to, should be able to jump into it.

This is regardless of whether they are in the course now or in the future.

2) Automatic sign up for existing lessons in course when enrolling

Upon enrolling a student in a course, we enrol him/her in all lessons.

Perhaps these two are not mutually exclusive though.

Your thoughts?

We can' t use the self enrolment ootion as it is not suitable and i wasn' t sure what you meant by 'jump into it'

I think the existing method of logging students prior to lesson commencenent/activation is ok but an additional option as I described above is urgently required.
