G'day Matthew,

When you mean "remove sequences", do you mean lessons? Just to be a bit picky here, we tend to call sequences to the ones you create in Author.

But when you go to click on Add Lesson and use the wizard to assign a sequences to a course, those are lessons (which kind of are running versions of the sequence).

Now that we got the theory our of the way :-), if you mean delete the sequence, then you can delete those in Author: Click the open sequence button and the select the sequence and click the Delete button.

If you want to get rid of a lesson permanently, then -in 2.0 you can't.

However, you can disable or archive it.

Once a lesson is archived, students won't see them. However, teachers and staff (monitors) can. Lesssons that are archived or disabled they can be activated again.

We do have a state for Remove for lessons that will remove them permanently in the code though (well, they will be kept on the db, but not displayed to anyone in LAMS) but it doesn't show as an option in the Monitor interface. We will add this state for 2.0.1

Thanks,

Ernie

Whenh is 2.0.1 on the way out? And when is 2.1 out, seeing as the split sequence tools will be available then as well?

It's hard to give a date, but you can have a look at the bug tracker. It has all the future releases and the issues and fixes pending to get the releases out.
