my problem is that i have a version from 2_3 release branch with a few customizations on the code and the updates only have the jars already compiled, is there a list of wich bugs were resolved on each update ? so that i can go to the bug and apply the patch to the source file ..

It seems that Spyros is also having the same problem in 2.3.3, Jun-Dir is investigating this now. We'll post an answer/solution here.

Hi Ernie,

The problem fixed for users' name in patch 2.3.3 but not for Sequense name and Group names.

P.S. The encoding problem does not exist on Ubuntu server only on Windows 2003 server.

I've posted a fix to the other thread; it only modifies lams-monitoring.jar, so unless you've modified something in there you shouldn't need to worry about your custom changes :)

We have copied your attachment (lams-monitoring.jar) on LAMS 2.3.3 on Windows server folder but the problem remain.

Ahh, I see what you mean about the group name problem now! I was thinking it was a problem with the jsp page, but it makes sense that it would also display incorrectly in the flash movie.

I've updated http://bugs.lamsfoundation.org/browse/LDEV-2471 to reflect the new info. We'll need to update the flash to fix this properly - as I mentioned in the other post, this jar is just a temporary fix for the lesson names only.
