Hi Shagul,

LAMS has its own repository works quite OK. At one stage some fellows in the US were planning to use Alfresco as a repository and thought it wouldn't be too hard to change the code.

I'm sure this easily doable but we haven't really looked into this seriously.

If you want to embark on this, please let us know and if there's anything we can help we'll be glad to do so.

Cheers,

Ernie

Hi Ernie,

Thanks for the quick response.

Is there a document or something that will provide more details of the content repository.

I have looked at the javadoc for the package and have some idea about the ToolDownload, ToolContentHandler, ToolContentManager, ExportToolContentService and other services out there.

I am trying to look into the lamscr.war.

Thanks,
Shagul

Hi Shagul,

This page explains how to interface with the content repository:

http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lams/Instructions

As you can see these are instructions for tool developers on how to put and get content into the CR.

If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,

Ernie

Thanks Ernie.
I will definitely post my questions and suggestions in the forum.

We are still looking into various options and levels of LAMS integration.

Hi Shagul,

Great.

BTW, what is the product you are trying to do an integration with? An external repository?

Thanks,

Ernie
