I have a problem with "start in Monitor". The time is always on 12 and the lesson start always at 00 + min.

Hi Edoardo,

I can't seem to be able to figure it out. I've been testing this today and although all the information (timezone and all) is meant to be alright, the lesson doesn't start when it's suppose to.

I think there's a bit of work we need to do with timezones in LAMS.

For once, we have tied the location to a timezone and unfortunately, we haven't taken into account the "day light saving" options. So for example the timezone for Sydney in LAMS says "GMT+10 Eastern Australia, Guam, Vladivostock", when in reality, now that we have day light savings, we are in GMT+11!

So I think we need to decouple geographic location and timezone completely. So we will have an option to choose your timezone based on GMT + or - 13 hours and another separate option for country and city instead.

I have created a task for this already:

http://bugs.lamsfoundation.org/browse/LDEV-2531

Thanks,

Ernie
