Description:

An outline sequence for laboratory practicals in science. There is no content in this sequence, rather a hypothesised outline for how you might use LAMS within a high school or university prac class. It involves some prework before coming to the class, and then a way for students to share and discuss their results. I would value feedback about this design as it is based on my own experience of teaching 2nd year biochemistry. I am interested to know if it would work for other laboratory practicals in science and school.

STOP (requires teacher release during lab session)

5. Students are asked to select the result or statement of results that they feel is correct (this is to uncover any general misunderstandings about the experiment purpose in the class)
Tool: Survey

6. The teacher can initiate a general discussion about the results or present the desired results here.

7. Students can upload lab reports here if they are required.
Tool: Submit files
