6.Students are given a more detailed account of how the CODIS system works and is used by the FBI for DNA evidence (noticeboard)
7.Students are asked to solve the crime now that they have all the evidence. (Q&A)

    Audience

    This sequence may also suit first/second year university students. It may be adapted to run as pre-work for a practical experiment. For example, when students use restriction enzymes to cut DNA for the first time. They can reflect on the many current practical uses of restriction enzymes in medicine and science as their final forum.
