PRE CLASS

Students watch at home a video about the history of E.U. on https://edpuzzle.com/media/5d14fc8ab61bbc40f5632752 This video lasts 3.16 min and has 4 embedded questions.
Students asked to watch carefully the video at home, answer the questions and write down any question or misunderstanding.
They also asked to make a small survey asking their family and friends if they know the exact number of today members of the E.U.

Teacher gets feedback from Edpuzzle (Formative Assessment) and depending on students answers on the video rearranges the groups of students and the in class activities (Differentiated Instruction) In Class Group A will consists of students with lower performance while group B will consists of students with higher performance

Teacher guides students in activities, help those who struggle and keep notes about the lesson.

Each student presents the survey he made at home (10’)
Group A plays an online game about the E.U. members, while group B finds E.U. countries on an interactive map (10’)

POST CLASS

At their home, students can join quizizz and play the test with code 371816 as many times until they reach 100% in right answers.

Students who want they can create a wall poster for the classroom with colored map of EU with different color for every group of countries depending their time of entrance in E.U
