Hi Chris,

There are a few template-style sequences within the LAMS Community where the specific content has been removed, and instructions given on how to populate the template with you own content. Two templates I've done along these lines are:
Template: What is [insert topic here]?
http://www.lamscommunity.org/lamscentral/sequence?seq%5fid=16699
- which is designed for when you introduce a new topic to students, and tries to get students to reflect on their preconceptions about that topic. It's based on a content-specific sequence for introducing Psychology to new students:
What is Psychology?

I wrote up a document that summarises both the template and content version - this is probably the best place to start to get an overview of how these templates work - see:
http://www.lamscommunity.org/lamscentral/files/TemplateAdvice_Whatis%5Binsert_topic%5D.doc?file%5frev%5fid=16701

A different example is a role play template:
Technology Adoption Role Play
http://www.lamscommunity.org/lamscentral/sequence?seq_id=376434
- which is about adopting a new educational technology in a typical school. For a content-specific version of this template, see Interactive Whiteboard Adoption role play
http://www.lamscommunity.org/lamscentral/sequence?seq%5fid=376440

There is also a summary document for these role plays - see:
http://www.lamscommunity.org/lamscentral/files/TemplateAdvice_TechnologyAdoptionRolePlay.doc?file%5frev%5fid=376436

Apart from the above, we're doing new work on Templates as part of the upcoming Activity Planner - we're trying to make it very easy for new teachers to use and adapt existing templates. Some information about this is already available (with more to come soon) - see:

Hope this helps!
