I have Jboss version 5 on my system. When I try to run the install, it keeps asking for version 4. I have changed the lams.properties, I have changed the directory name of the jboss, nothing seems to work. It keeps asking for JBoss-4.MESSAGE KEY MISSING: '.'. Where do I change what it is looking for.

Hi Flane,

As of today, LAMS doesn't run on JBoss5. As far as I know, JBoss5 uses a different configuration, class loader, etc.

However, we are working on migrating LAMS to JBoss5.1 at the moment and this should be done in the next month or so. This will have a lot of advantages: hibernate3, easier tool deployment and many others.

There's a task for upgrading to JBoss5 where you can follow the progress.

Thanks,

Ernie

I had to drop back to Jbos 4.0.2. Then I had to make quite a number of configuration changes to the workers.properties. However, I now have Lams, Moodle, Jboss, Mysql, and Apache running solidly on Redhat Advanced Enterprise 5.3 v3. I am going to celebrate. Steak and a beer.

Later guys.

Good news Flane! :-)

Hmmm... steak and beer, two of my favorite!
