Hello,

I am trying to integrate LAMS with moodle.
The moodle I installed already has the LAMS module.

In LAMS:
--------

key: moodle
id: moodle
name: moodle
User Info URL: http://192.168.2.4/moodle/mod/lams/userinfo.php?ts=%timestamp%&un=%username%&hs=%hash%

In Moodle:
----------
lams_serverurl: http://192.168.2.4:8080/lams
lams_serverid: moodle
lams_serverkey: moodle

(The name attribute does not exist in Moodle)

Problem:
---------

1 - When I try to add an activity, I get this error:

An unexpected error returned from LAMS server:ns1:Server.NoService: The AXIS engine could not find a target service to invoke! targetService is LearningDesignService! Please contact your administrator.

2- In jboss/server/default/log, I have

a) No errors in lams.log
b) No errors in server.log

Any hints?
How can I check for AXIS engine?

Regards,
Youssef

Thanks for the detailed info.

This would be for lams 1.x - you need to download the 'lamstwo' module, for lams 2.x :)

Does this mean that I have to delete the already existing LAMS module?

Hello,

I just installing LAMS and Moodle on my laptop. I found that they can be integrated each other. But I installed Moodle using PostgreSQL and LAMS is installed using MySQL. Is it possible to integrate them even the database is different?

Thanks.

Hi Pungki,

No, there's no problem integrating LAMS even if both run on separate databases. So nothing to worry about :-)

Thanks,

Ernie
