Hi,

I would need some one help me out for URL mapping, i have installed lams application and it is running in jboss server 80 port. whenever i tried to access application i used to type the url with lams at the end of the ip address (http://xx.xx.xx.xx/lams) instead of that i am going to give some URL name like. http://lams.xxx.in. so please advise me regarding. and also i dont want to specify the lams at the end of the url name.

Please let me know if you are not clear my query.

Unfortunately, you can't get rid of the /lams/

There's quite a few /lams/ hardcoded in LAMS (although we shouldn't have to, but at times it was easier to do it that way).

Nevertheless, if you are a hardcore Apache fun, then you can use some mod_proxy to achieve this but that will require some configuration.

Another simpler solution is to have http://xx.xx.xx.xx to automatically redirect to http://lams.xx.xx/lams/.

Thanks,

Ernie
