Hello everyone!

I have problems to access to LAMS from moodle. When I try to load the author from moodle I cannot load the LAMS author

I'm installing moodle this way:

1. Install "xampp-win32-1.7.3" It's a .exe, not zip
2. After installing Xampp I unzip the moodle 1.9.x and move the moodle folder from "..server/moodle" to "C:\xampp\htdocs"
3. when i go to "http://localhost/moodle" it runs the installer for moodle. The field for sql root password is empty, the tables are done and that's it.
You can browse the site with no problems but the only issue I have is the LAMS course format. After you make the new course it doesnt load the Author so I did the next.
4. I already installed JDK and the LAMS version I'm gonna install is 2.3, the JDK version is 6 and the sql is the one provided by Xampp 1.7.3.
The My.ini is not in the mysql folder but inside bin folder. If I tell the LAMS installer to check inside bin it gives me an error, If I just choose the Mysql folder it will tell me I have to write something in the My.ini. so i just copy the one inside bin and paste it in mysql folder.

5. After LAMSv2 is done I go to admin and set the ID and key from integrated servers and click save..

6. The lamstwo folder is moved inside "...moodle/mod"
7. On the browser I go to http://localhost/moodle/admin" to create the tables

8. Then on activities I look for LAMS 2 and set the ID and Key with Moodle...

I do all this but dont know what im doing wrong, cannot load the Author or Monitor.

By the way, my firewalls are all down.

Can you guys help me please? ;(

Are you getting an error message when you try to Author sequences? If so, what error is this?

Thanks,

Ernie
