We are ready for the Postgres migration. When can we get 1.1 code to start the process?

Hi Michael,

We are opening LAMS 1.1 CVS in the next two or three weeks. Still figuring out some CVS admin issues, security, cleaning up old modules, etc.

Regarding Postgres migration, we can give you all the db creation scripts we have for MySQL (our default database) and you can get started with that. Once the datamodel is created in Postgres, Hibernate should take care of the rest.

How does that sound?

Thanks,

Ernie

Michael,

Find all the db schemas so far here.

Once you have them in Postgres let us know so we can test it or send you a running copy (up to that date) of LAMS 1.1

Thanks,

Ernie

Hello dear colleagues. In Bulgaria we looking forward the LAMS 1.1 development to be finished. It is very ineresting platform. Our ideas are to develop joint backend db development for BEST/LAMS (general database), common installer, joint web-services and etc. And what is more we develop nonlinear structures for courses (LAMS deal only with linear structures). We have many difficulties. We need of your expert advices and consultations.

Have a look at this thread to see some of the nonlinear sequences you can achieve with LAMS today and after 1.1

Thanks,

Ernie
