Hello - is there a way to create a lams lesson and making it available to people who are not either registered in LAMS and/or registered for the group the lesson is in?

We want are writing a paper and we would like to provide readers the ability to try out a LAMS lesson. We can publish a link to a LAMS lesson but we will not be able to register these people in advance because we will not know who these people are that will be trying to use the lesson.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

You can upload it into LAMS Central and then send the people to the sequence page where they can see the preview button. They can go thru the lesson without having to login in LAMS.

Hope that helps

Hi Erine - how we actually upload a file to the LAMS community? I am working with a colleague (Helen Morgan). She joined the community and uploaded a file to "My Files" but I do not see how she actually share it on the community page.

The url for her file is:

http://lamscommunity.org/dotlrn/file-storage/file?file_id=1858066

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

Just login into the LAMS Community, then you'll see all the portlets in the main page.. See the LAMS sequence portlet. In the Public sequences, at the top there's an "Add" button:

Click on that and follow the instructions.

Thanks,

Ernie
