1: What is the LAMS Course Format in Moodle?

I switched to the LAMS Course Format, as a trial.
This looked like the Topic Format, only with a LAMS
activity at the top, the unnumbered topic.
I was expecting to see something that showed the activities
being related in sequences, maybe even as a "concept map".

What's the intension of this course format? Where might
it take us?

Scott Casley asked a similar question on this thread.

I'll be setting up an example on how you could use this course format that hopefully will ilustrate its usage. Bare with me for a few days.
