I'm doing sequences about collaborative working. I want to do 4 groups and I want to do 4 files in input for their projects(1 file for each group). I'm doing this using Optional Activities. There is an alternative way? If one student is from "group 1" I don't want that he can see the things about group 2,3,4. I would that if the system knows that the student is a part of group 1, it lets him to enter in group1 things in automatic way and not with a student choice. It is possible?

At the moment, Optional Activities are the only way you can do this. There is no way to make it happen automatically.

The good news is that in the next release of LAMS (LAMS 2.1) you will be able to do want! LAMS 2.1 will support group based branching, where to allocate a particular group to a set of activities. When the student reaches this point in the lesson, they will be taken automatically to the appropriate activities.
