LAMS 2.1 Beta is now available for download.

This is a Beta (testing) release and it should be used for education and testing purposes only. This release is not yet ready to be used in production or real class environments as it still contains bugs.

There is an installer for Windows and for Unix (Unix/Linux/Mac OS/X). These installers will not upgrade an existing LAMS, and we are not going to do an upgrader to upgrade LAMS 2.1 Beta to LAMS 2.1.

We have also updated the Demo Server to LAMS 2.1 Beta, so you can also try out branching there.

If you already have an account on the demo server and you are having trouble starting a lesson as it seems to hang when listing all the people in the class, then try creating yourself a new account. This will put you in a new course with a lot less people.

If you have questions or find problems, ask about them here. It might take us a day or so to get back to you - we intend to enjoy our Christmas holidays. But we will reply eventually.
