Hi

I expect this question has been asked before, but I can't find the answer.

I recently had to revisit the configuration settings in lams.properties in order to get Wildfire working.

When I ran the lams install script to apply the new settings it erased the data in the existing LAMS database :(

For future reference, how can I update the contents of lams.properties and apply the changes without overwriting the existing database?

Thanks very much

Hello Clive,

You can change settings post installation by logging in as sysadmin and then going to the "SysAdmin" link and then clicking the "Edit Configuration Settings" link. The wildfire settings are all there.

I would advise against changing the lams.properties and re-running the install script as this will overwrite your existing installation. The lams.properties file is just to set up your initial settings when installing lams.
