Dear Mr/Ms:

I am trying to install the "lamstwo" module for Moodle. My Operating System is Ubuntu 8.0.4, and I have already installed LAMS 2.2 and Moodle 1.9.

I have downloaded the package from http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lams/Downloads#Downloads-moodle and I am following the instructions in http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lamsdocs/Moodle. So, after unzipping the package, and moving the lamstwo directory to moodle/mod/ and lamstwo.php to moodle/lang/en_utf8/ I have entered in Moodle as admin, but the tables have not been created in MySQL, and LAMS2 does not appear in the Moodle modules. I have checked that MySQL is correctly installed and my user can write in the database.

Do you know any detail that I am skipping?

Thanks

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

Can you make sure that the lamstwo directory is under the moodle/mod/ directory? If it is then go to your http://your-moodle-domain/moodle/admin and that should create the necessary LAMS tables.

After that just proceed with the configuration as per the documentation. Also, have a look at the configuration animation.

Thanks,

Ernie
