No, 2.3.5 was not running when I did the backup.
I would like to restore some sequences that a group of teachers has not exported on his pc.

Thanks
Edoardo

The problem is that when you restore you actually reverting back to a previous state rather than adding older sequences.

So this won't work.

Would you be able to attach the lams.log and server.log from your server?

Thanks,

Ernie

The logs are stopped at 2011.
There's no connection to the server

LAMS uninstalled, reinstalled version 2.3 (I'm working on a local server), so it seems that it works. I see old groups and assigned sequences, but I still have to make some checks and then I tell you.

Thanks

War Diary LAMS Backup vs. Edoardo.
Failure to connect to the server obviously had nothing to do with backup: my mistake.
Now, I uninstalled LAMS, so I installed version 2.3 and all patches up to 2.3.3. I could not install the 2.3.4 (the backup version), because it gave me an unexplainable error, error at other times hat not given me. However, even with the 2.3.3. everything works fine, after performing with the greatest attention (maybe was not there before) the steps prescribed by the Backup Protocol.
And it was now declared peace :-)

Thanks
Edoardo

Glad that it worked out at the end.
