Forum LAMS for Tech-Heads - General Forum: "Login As" feature in 2.0.3!

Hi everyone,

Jun-Dir has added a very cool and much needed feature for the LAMS administrators where they can find a user and then by pressing a button, login as that user they have selected... and bang, they become that user.

This is quite an important feature for admins as they tend to get calls from users saying that they have X, Y or Z problem with their account and unless the admin can login with their details, they wouldn't be able to see what the problem is.

To access this new feature, you login as LAMS administrator, go to the SysAdmin Menu, click on Find User, search for your user and then press the Login As button and you not longer are the LAMS admin but the user you have chosen.

Needless to say, only the LAMS admin can become other users as it would be really messy othewise
