LAMS Conference December 9th in Sydney - Proposals Due in 5 days
Proposals for presentations and/or papers for the 6th International LAMS and Learning Design conference (Sydney, December 9th) are due 30th September - we hope you can join us to share your thoughts and experiences on LAMS, Learning Design and related topics. For submission details, please see The conference will be held at Macquarie University. Beginner and Advanced LAMS workshops will be available on the 8th. We expect many Learning Design experts from around the world will be in Sydney in December, so this should make for particularly rich discussions this year. For all conference details, see I'll be joining other Learning Design colleagues for workshops in Oxford this coming week (at Oxford University Computing Service, 13 Banbury Road). If you are hoping to attend the Pedagogic Planner workshop on Sep 29th but haven't let me know, please email me (james.dalziel@mq.edu.au) and cc my assistant Renee Vance (renee.vance@mq.edu.au) asap to help with arrangements and catering. Sheila MacNeill from JISC CETIS is organising the second event on the 30th - further details are available on her blog at Kimberley Pressick-Kilborn and Matthew Kearney have just had a short piece published on the importance of peer networks for teacher professional development, including a mention of LAMS as an example of online communities for sharing.
