LAMS Training in Singapore - Oct 2 & 3
I'm delighted to confirm that Leanne and I will be in Singapore on October 2nd and 3rd to provide training workshops for LAMS as part of the Nanyang Technological University's "Innovations in Teaching 2012" event from October 1-3. For the full "Innovations in Teaching 2012" program (Word doc), see Leanne and I will provide four 1 day workshops over 2 days - on the first day, Leanne will provide Basic LAMS training while I provide Advanced training. On the second day, we'll be providing new LAMS workshops with a focus on using LAMS for effective teaching using LAMS templates - Leanne will provide a Basic and I'll provide an Advanced level workshop on using templates. To register for this event, please go to: For enquiries, please contact: The cost is S$450 (before GST) for the full 3-day seminar, or to attend just the LAMS workshops it is S$250 (before GST) for 1 day of training or S$400 (before GST) for 2 days of training. There is a 10% discount for for all MOE & Government Bodies and 20% discount for NTU Alumni Members or Group Registration of 3 or more staff from an organisation. The 7th International LAMS and Learning Design Conference will be on December 7th 2012 at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia - with workshops on the 6th. The theme this year is "Surveying the Learning Design Langscape". The call for presentations is currently open - we welcome presentation proposals, papers and other submissions - these are due by September 14th.
