LAMS Community 1 month old!

Since the launch of the LAMS Community a month ago, many people have asked how it is going, so for this week's newsletter, we're summarising progress to date.

We have 375 users from over 45 countries. There are 44 shared sequences (9 public), and they have been downloaded a total of 340 times to date. Across the various communities, there have been over 260 forum postings.

On average, the LAMS Community is getting 2,400+ requests per day, with a peak of over 6,000 in early October.

So.... I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has joined and contributed to the LAMS Community - it's a great start to "open source teaching". We hear that there are many more LAMS users out there yet to join, and many more LAMS sequences that haven't yet been shared with the community, so we look forward to new users and sequences over the coming months.
