The start up script, "LAMS 2 Server.scpt" generates applescript error (-60008) when start-button is clicked.

The file is unreadable/garbled, but is recognized by OS X as "run-time only" so I maybe it was once applescript. Also the Mac Script Editor can't open it.

OS X 10.10 ... is the most likely problem, but I don't really know.

A year or so ago I built LAMS from source and used it for a little while, but on Ubuntu 12.??, bt that experience is not helping me.

Thank you.

Hi Peter,

We haven't had a chance to upgrade our installers in a loong time, unfortunately.

Also the Mac one is tricky as I believe it would require a special java update from Sun (now Oracle) for JDK 6.

However, the instructions to build LAMS from source should be working in Ubuntu 14/15.04. As a matter of fact, I think this is what I use in my desktop.

If you encounter any issues compiling LAMS please post here.

Thanks

Ernie
