A lot of teachers are working on common subject areas and on common topics. For example I know teachers in Australia have done work on "bullying" and the Christchurch City Council have used LAMS to explore "vandalism" in depth.

Why not use this space to ask "Has anyone done anything on XXXX? You might save yourself reinventing the wheel!

I've added a sequence for ICT teachers in the K-12 area. It is about plagiarism. It might be of interest to other teachers as well who are interested in trying to help students understand what plagiarism means.

The sequence begins by looking at the advantages and disadvantagees of the internet.

It uses quite a few of the simplest tools and it doesn't require any extra files to be uploaded.

Does anyone have some good ideas about teaching students about plagiarism?

Welcome back to term 4 to all the teachers currently using LAMS on all of our trials in NZ, SA, NSW and the UK.

Karen May from Glenorie Primary School in NSW has uploaded some really great sequences for young learners - 4-6 years old. I hope you find these usefull and I look forward to seeing more seqeunces from other teachers soon!

If you are interested in Geography I've added one on world heritage sites and conservation.

This is most suitable for students in Stage 4 (NSW syllabus, Australia), Years 7 - 10.

This single class exercise could certainly be developed into a number of sequences on the topic.

I've just put a sequence in the Public folder for Year 7/8 (Australian school system) called "The Planets". The sequence explores the solar system on a very general level and is based around a task to design a travel brochure to one of the planets. I've used a few HTML noticeboards (at a very simple level) in the sequence if anyone is interested in seeing how these work.
