Greetings all,

This is my first visit to the LAMS community forum, and I am excited to find so many ideas in circulation here. This is one of a number of very happy discoveries in recent times - another of which is a tool called 'Voicethread' which I can't wait to use in the classroom (http://voicethread.com/#home).

I am a few weeks away from embarking on my final placement - a ten week practical with a year 3/4 class at a government school over here in Victoria.The children will not have had any experience in working with LAMS before, but I would be very interested in giving it a go. If you have any suggestions for some good preliminary activities I'd love to hear about them.

Looking forward to following the various threads that emerge from these pages.
