Do you think your students would get a kick out of sharing their sequences on-line in this community?

It would be fun to see what they came up with.

As the LAMS Community website grows, I'd love to see a "Student Community" become part of the site. Initially I had thought of this as an area where students could talk about their experiences of LAMS, make suggestions for features and ways of designing sequences, and generally have a voice in our discussion and planning for the future of LAMS. But if we create a Student Community, it will also have Sequence Repository, so they could share their sequences if they wanted to - which would be great.

I'm looking forward to the day (not too far off), when students will be able to say "Hey, why don't we run this topic using this sequence I've just created!"

My kids love to share their work. I will ask them if they want to share some with you. At the moment they are designing sequences around Science experiments we did on the properties of air and the Bernoulli principle. They recently designed a quick quiz about Canberra (after our trip there) and 2 boys are still designing a sequence about Sharks for the little guys in Stage 1 to play with. They used Share resource, found a cool site and then created a forum. This might be too hard for little guys but they might learn this as they go. I'll keep you posted.
