Hi Peter,

If the activity you are using has a "Lock when finished" option (forum, chat), then they can use the progress bar (the left frame in Learner) to go back to the previous activity and keep posting messages/chatting.

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately, if the pupils have clicked finished before completing a MCQ, vote or survey, they will not be able to redo those questions by using the progress bar (it is useful for looking at their answers if they need to). Usually there is a fair bit of warning about them not having put an answer in yet.

As Ernie said, the students can return to chat and forum if the 'lock when finished' is not checked in the authoring view.

The only way to let them start the sequence again would be to give them a new user name and password.

I'm sure they will learn to not rush ahead in the lesson with time ;-)
