Hi,
I am a teacher in the NT who is trying to teach herself to use the LAMS program, but I've made numerous mistakes in my plans when authoring-- how do I delete them once they are locked--I've tried archiving them when in mointoring & that removes them from the learners sequence, but I'd like to clean up my authoring files

Cheers Sue

Hi Sue,

Aahhh... if only we could clean up our mistakes - I have many myself. At the moment, LAMS v1.2 doesn't allow us to delete our locked sequences. My understanding is that it was originally a preventative step, so that once a sequence was locked (and possibly being used by students) a teacher wouldn't be able to delete it and thus destroy a class in session.

But LAMS v2 due out later this year, will allow those locked files to be deleted, and the others to be organised into different files.

I would love to hear about your experiences with using LAMS (what type of school, age group etc), and am very happy to answer any more questions you have.
