hi every1. this is my 1st time using the new lams site.just wondering if there is any way of recovering an old lams sequence i created on the older version of lams.does any1 knw if that site is still running and if so wat the address is, thx.also i knw this may sound silly but i cant seem 2 find the authoring pg on this new lams program.if any1 can help it'd be much appreciated.

Hi Amanda,

There are a few LAMS server around. But do you remember if you were using the LAMS as part of a MQ course? Or whether you were using the demo site?

Sorry, I forgot one thing... once you get access to the sequence you created in the old LAMS, you can export it and them re-import it in the new LAMS (v2.0) and it should work just like it did with the old LAMS as well.

So let me know if you remember what server you were using so we can find your old sequence

hi ernie, yes i authored the sequence in educ261 and the tutorial where the students were importing the sequence in2 new lams i was having technical difficulties and couldn't do it.so if u could tell me how 2 access it it'd be gr8,thx.

G'day Amanda,

I think I remember this. I believe I even was there when you guys were importing the sequences (can't remember though).

At any rate, the LAMS2 server you were using to import your 1.0.2 sequence was still a "in progress" version. Therefore when the final LAMS2 came out we wiped it out and reinstall it again. So your sequence is gone :-(

However, if you still have your original 1.0.2 sequence, you can reimport it into LAMS2 and that will work fine. You can use the LAM2 demo server for this.

i was never able to import my sequence to lams 2 it is still in the version i used in educ261 and was wondering if i could still access that version or not. and yes u were there that day in our tutorial:)
