Hi,

Could someone guide on locating the sources .fla files for all of the flash files used in LAMS. Example lams_authoring.swf and lams_authoring_library.swf

Thank you

Hi Susi,

The source files for Flash are in the lams_flash folder in CVS. They are not part of the "all" CVS packages as they aren't required for compilation (Java) and these Flash files are quite large (250+ MBs!)

Note that we've been using Flash MX 2004 for Flash development.

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ernie

Thank you for your reply, Have checked out the lams_flash and Lams_flex going through the .as files.

We have a need to customize the Authoring space. Need to do some validations when the lesson is saved and redirected to another interface. Need to add button to call the interface as well. Where can I download the flash source files

Thank you

Susi

If you have checked out lams_flash, that's where the source files are.

Thanks,

Ernie

Thanks Ernie,

Now I am able to view all the flash files. May I know the triggers of save button in the author space. Is there anyone who can help me with the pool of action script, I find that some are as2.0 and some as3.0. Our Flash file will be an as3.0 that needs to be redirected whenever the lesson is saved.

Thank You
