Hi Ern,

I don't see any errors in the log, so I don't know why you are getting the LAMS login page.

Do you know if the page you are getting is being served by JBoss/Tomcat? If you don't know, just attached a screenshot of the page you are getting please.

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ern,

For the logs, it seems that you are having problems with your JAVA_OPTS.

BTW, how did you install LAMS? Using the installer or ?

Please modify this line in your run.bat file in C:/lams/jboss-4.0.2/

set JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -Xms128m -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=130m -XX:NewSize=128m -XX:MaxNewSize=128m -XX:SurvivorRatio=95

That should fix this.

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ern,

This is the line that is puzzling me:

2011-06-03 08:00:40,954 ERROR [org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[jboss.web].[localhost].[/lams].[jsp]] Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception

I really don't know why this is being thrown. You are sure that you aren't running any other java application, right?

Hi Ern,

Great that it works now.

Just to check, do you know what version of Java you have on the machine that isn't working? Is it Sun's Java JDK or ...?

Thanks,

Ernie
