No more Jabber server required for Chat in LAMS 2.4.1

Hi everyone,
As you might know, LAMS 2.4 and all previous versions use a Jabber server for its chat tool, instant messaging and presence service. The server we use for this is a Wildfire / Openfire jabber server. However, given that our needs for chat, IM and presence are so minuscule, it always felt that having an external jabber server for this was an overkill. Additionally, it's usually a bit of a pain to have to set up an external service and makes system administration a bit more cumbersome. So we looked into replacing jabber completely with our own implementation. It was quite hard as some part had to be re-written completely, but we managed to do this. What this means is that on our next release you won't need to install Wild/Openfire anymore. And if you had a LAMS server with a Wildfire server, you will be able to get rid of the Jabber server altogether! (all your existing message history will remain in the upgrade, so your users won't even notice the change!) Many thanks to Marcin for his fantastic work on this.
