Hi Ernie, hi everybody
I'm having a (big) problem in setting a passing mark for assessment activities.
When I set a passing mark and I save the activity, LAMS seems not to save my settings: when I go back to the advanced tab of the activity, it displays:
"passing mark: none".
Has anyone experimented the same problem? It happened in two different servers...

Hi Luca,

What LAMS version are you using?

Is this in the Assessment activity or MCQ?

Actually, I can confirm the issue and have raised a development task now:

http://bugs.lamsfoundation.org/browse/LDEV-2993

I'll let you know once this is resolved and send you a patch.

Please let me know the LAMS version you are using.

Hi Luca,

You can find the patch here:

http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lams/Patches

See the first patch for LAMS 2.4.

Unzip the file and then apply it as per the instructions.


How to apply a patch

  • Download the patch you want to use.
  • Stop LAMS
  • Do a full backup (just in case -see below)
    make sure the backup is good (all the steps have been finished properly)
  • Unzip the patch on the lams.ear directory.
  • Delete the following directories under

    * jboss-5.1\server\default\tmp

    * jboss-5.1\server\default\work
  • Restart LAMS and you should be good.
