Ciao Ernie, hello everybody.
I have a question about the Assessment activity. If you select both "display correct answers" and "display wrong answers", the system displays small green and red icons just next to the answers students actually tried.

Please see my attachment, first question: the right answer is, of course, Roma. A student selects Milano. The system displays the red cross and gives him 0/1 point.
Is there a way to display a green icon for "Roma" answer? Otherwise, if the teacher allows just one attempt, how could the student know the right answer?
The only way I found by now is giving, for every wrong question, a verbal feedback: "The right answer was Roma". But it's very long, since my lesson has more than 100 questions.
Same story with the other two questions.
In number 2, for example, the answer is SLC, but either the student types it correctly, or he won't see the answer.
Is there a different way to set assessment advanced tab? Am I missing something?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

As usual, things here are pretty hectic :-)

I see what you are trying to do.

However, when we were building Assessment one of the main feedback we've got from teachers was not to display the correct answer in case the student didn't get it correctly.

The main concern seems to be that teachers don't want to "give away" the correct answer.

As you said, there's a way to do this by completing the incorrect answer feedback field. And as tedious as this might sound, I think this is perhaps -for now, the best way to go about this.

Ok, I understand... Maybe a future feature of LAMS could be give the instructors this choice. As you can see, my messages always tend to make your days more and more hectic :P
