In my lams 2.3 installation I added a index.html file to the folder: “\jboss-4.0.2\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\ROOT.war\index.html”.

The html file redirects the requests form http://server:8080/ to http://server:8080/lams/. ¿Is it possible to do the same in lams 2.4?

Hola Miguel!

Yes, in JBoss 5.1 you can also use the ROOT.war, but instead you need to put it in:

\jboss-5.1\server\default\deploy

Here's the ROOT.war that I tend to use.

Wouldn't it be a good idea add those files to the distribution of lams?
