We've changed the settings on the LAMS 2.0 wiki so that you can now sign up and create your own accounts.

You won't have the rights to update the pages but you will be able to do the following:

* Set up your profile so that you get updated when pages change. If you click on the "Welcome <yourname>" link and select Edit Profile, then select the Email Preferences, then you can turn on "Subscribe to daily updates" and you will get an email whenever a page is changed.

* Export individual pages - on each page there is a tab marked "Info". Select this tab and there is an option to export the page as Word or PDF.

* Add comments to pages. While you can't change the existing text, you can add comments.

Hopefully this will make it easier for you to find out when we change the pages and to add comments you may have like tips you might have building LAMS from the source.

This will NOT replace the LAMS Community. If you have questions please keep asking them here. I will not be answering questions via the wiki. If you want to discuss new features, ideas on using LAMS, etc then please keep posting here in the LAMS Community.

You cannot reuse your LAMS Community account I'm afraid - you will need to sign up for a new account on the wiki. The LAMS Community and the wiki runs on different platforms and we can't make them work with one shared account easily. To create an account on the wiki, go to the main page http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lams/Home and click the "Sign Up" link in the top left hand corner.
