This is important for everyone who has written their own tool, or is running LAMS with a tool that isn't one of the standard LAMS tools.

Well, changes are coming with 2.1 that need code changes.

Now before anyone panics, the changes are not large. We are announcing this now so you can work out what to do before the 2.1 release.

If your tool works with LAMS 2.0.4, then it should work with 2.1 unchanged, but there are some code changes that you will need to make eventually.

If your tool works with LAMS 2.0.2 or earlier then there are some code changes that you MUST make before upgrading LAMS.

The changes are described on the Tool Updates page on the developer's wiki.

If you have written your own tool, then please read the Tool Updates page.

If you are using a tool that someone else wrote, then please let them know about these changes.
