This development environment doc from September 2008 http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lams/Development+Environment

recommends jboss 4.0.2 and says 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 does not work.

The latest jboss is 5.1.0 and the latest 4.x is 4.2.3.

Is there any recommendation to use a newer version of jboss?

Thanks

Hi Dave,

LAMS 2 is currently working on JBoss 4.0.2. We tried with JBoss 4.0.3 quite some time ago and that didn't work. Then we haven't tried with another version until recently.

We are currently testing JBoss 5.1 for the LAMS v2.3 release. If we manage to configure it properly and gain some further improvements and test it all before it goes out, we'll be bundling JBoss 5.1 with the new version. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks,

Ernie
