Forum LAMS for Tech-Heads - General Forum: Capturing export of IMS Learning Design

Hello all,

I am looking for an effective way of capturing exported IMS Learning Design (zip) files. Specifically this is when from the LAMS browser: "Author --> Export --> IMS Learning Design Level A Format" is chosen.

I then intend to write some, such as a windows web service, that inspects a known directory at pre-defined intervals then unpacks the IMS Learning Design files, reads the imsmanifest file and does some further processing (written in C#/.NET)

I am not that familiar with the overall architecture of LAMS nor with the Eclipse IDE. I'm after a few tips on where in the code base I would look for the "export" code and what sort of minimal tweeks could be performed to save these exported files on the LAMS server.
