I've just added instructions on how to Build LAMS using the latest code from CVS (LAMS 2.4 basically). See:

Hi Shuai,

No, LAMS 2.4 is still a development release. It's going to be like that until probably the end of 2009.

As LAMS is open source, you can build and view how we work on different features. The Building LAMS 2.4 is to show how to compile the latest version, as it is different from LAMS 2.3.

The main difference is that now LAMS 2.4 uses JBoss 5 and a whole bunch of new java libraries that make LAMS a lot faster than before...

If you want to see how we progress thru the tasks, there's also the bug/task tracker, where you can see the different features that are left until the stable release.
